Chew, Chew, Chew for Good Digestion

Our lives seem to be so busy these days. Packed with things to do, places to go and so many distractions that grab our attention.
Sometimes I've got so much on my mind and my plate that I forget to really chew my food. This is essential for proper digestion. Our mouth is the first place that we produce digestive enzymes, so when we do not chew throughly our food does not receive all of the enzymes it needs to digest properly. Do you suffer from digestive distress? Not chewing enough can be a contributor to this problem. Take notice how many times you chewyour food before you swallow? Our food should be chewed so that you should not be able to recognize it by it's texture.I had a friend that went to finishing school and she had to chew each bite 30 times. How Many times do you chew? Check out this article on the importance of chewing your food
